NFL Players Host 6 Day Summer Football Camp

“My son can not stop talking about how much fun he had at camp last year and all of the things he learned. It means so much that NFL Players spend 1 on 1 time with the boys on and off the field. I will be sending him every year!” ~ Ms. J. Waters

The Carpenter House, Project Mayhem & Beyond 80 Ways  host  2012 Commitment 4 Change Summer Football Camp presented by UnderArmour & State Farm for ages 8-18 yrs      July 2 – July 7, 2012

Please join Baltimore’s own  NFL pros: Keion Carpenter (retired Atlanta Falcon), Aaron Maybin (New York Jets),  Bryant Johnson (Houston Texans) and their NFL colleagues as they join with Woodlawn Recreation for the 2012 Commitment for Change (C4C) youth summer football camp.  With similar ties to Baltimore and the NFL, Keion, Bryant and Aaron share a commitment to giving back.  Inspired by their personal journey to the NFL, they have designed this year’s 6 day clinic to teach young athletes the tools to succeed on and off the field.

C4C’s goal is to give youth access to the resources they need to make good decisions and lead successful lives beyond the gridiron by providing workshops on art, college  preparation  and character building, as well as, specialized technical sports training.  The camp, which seeks to marry formal education and fieldwork with interactive workshops, will take place this summer on the grounds of Woodlawn Senior High School in Baltimore County.

We want to thank all of our NFL guest coaches including Allan Rossum (ret), Calvin Johnson (Lions), Michael Jenkins (Falcons), Carmelo Anthony (Knicks), Michael Vick (Eagles), Anquan Boldin (Ravens) & Prescott Burgess (Ravens) along with our sponsors State Farm, Shoe City, Morgan Stanley, The Marines, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Sams’s Club for helping make the camp a huge success over the last 3 years!

Aaron Maybin Sacks Joe Flacco in Homecoming Game

Echelon Life wants to congratulate our client, Aaron Maybin, for a great performance at his homecoming Ravens vs Jets game in M&T Stadium on Oct 2nd.  There is a lot of drama and backstory between these two teams, especially with so many of the Jets players being former Ravens including head coach, Rex Ryan.  Although, the Ravens won, Baltimore could cheer for their other hometown son, Aaron Maybin #51 (Jets Defense) as he applied pressure and made the Ravens QB scramble. Whenever he was rushing the passer, Flacco’s passes were incomplete. His performance was definitely exciting to watch during Sunday Night Football’s showdown.  Watch Aaron sack Joe Flacco and strip him of the football forcing a fumble which returned possession to his team – http://www.youtube.com/aaronmaybin58
